Yes, waterthing. Not sure what to call it, but there’s two at the Beurstraverse (‘Koopgoot’) in Rotterdam. Kids really enjoy playing in and around them when the weather is hot, possibly get some of the shopping people wet a bit. ;)
Sometimes, like last Wednesdayevening, you roam the city for hours without getting one decent photo.
And sometimes you step out the door and walk into a scene like this. Back home in 10 minutes. ;)
Sometimes I don’t really get art, most of the time even. Just like this one, no clue how to interpret it. ;)
Anyway, I like the contrast of the flowers on the wall with the brown brick walls.
These people understand how to cope with hot weather: just do nothing.
Escaping the heat at the Catharijnesingel in Utrecht.
Platform 8b is my regular platform when going home from Utrecht. It is so regular that I get slightly confused when my train departs from another platform and any other platform does not really fit my schedule.
Tragic, I know.. ;)
Wow! My friend Annick participated in her first 1/4th triathlon and actually won the race.
I’m glad I was there to give some support, experience the whole event and make a couple photos of her rocking this race. ;)
I was out of the city for a family day, so out of my comfortzone a little bit. ;) Still did get to see some pretty sights like these birds on the move and I had a really nice day.
Yes, Utrecht is very pretty with all its canals. Especially the city center has really nice places. This is the Oudegracht with the Dom Tower in the background.
I do like the slightly low but bright sunlight, it makes for cool long shadows.
